Getting Classes

Published by persh at 9:31 pm under Be Prepared, College Life Edit This

Wow it was a hassle trying to sort out my schedule for this coming semester. I have to make time to work, study, go to school, and have personal time. Not so much personal time I’m afraid. Just maybe 6 hours to myself this semester or a day if I’m lucky.

It just seems like college has one too many classes. A lot of things could just be pushed into the same course. I notice a few classes are doing that now. History 11 and English 101 or 103 (not sure of the classes exactly) have been placed together. You study the history from what I understand and then you write the essays. A bit more work than one class but certainly a time saver. And two teachers teach the class. So it’s not like they’re cutting anyone out.

I’m disappointed this year. A lot of online classes were cut. It makes it even harder for my tight schedule. Somehow I figured it out though.

FYI. I registered for my classes online. Once you’re completely transferred into LACC you can do the registration by phone or via the student information system (on the LACC homepage).
